Accessibility
Last updated: 24 August 2026
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on a screen reader, on the keyboard alone, or on contrast and text-size settings. The stated conformance target for this site is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA.
What is in place today
Semantic page structure with clear landmarks — header, navigation, main content and footer — a skip-to-content link at the start of every page, and a consistent heading order. Every form field has a real label, every icon-only button and link has a name a screen reader can announce, and decorative elements are excluded from the accessibility tree.
Contrast and text size
We target a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and user-interface boundaries, in both the light and dark themes. The page can be zoomed to 200% without losing content or function, and no meaning on the site is carried by colour alone.
Keyboard
Every interactive element can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator. The small-screen menu closes with Esc and returns focus to the button that opened it, and the fixed navigation bar does not obscure the element that has focus.
Motion
If you have turned on “reduce motion” in your operating system, the site responds by stopping looping animations and animated backgrounds and by disabling smooth scrolling. Nothing on the site flashes or blinks.
Language and direction
The site is bilingual, and switching language updates both the lang and dir attributes on the page, so screen readers pronounce the text in the correct language and the layout runs in the correct direction.
Limitations we know about
This site is under continuous development, and issues we have not yet caught may appear, particularly in new content. No independent external accessibility audit has been carried out: the target stated above is one we work to and review with every release, not a third-party certificate of conformance.
Report a barrier
If anything prevents you from using this site, email info@yamamasoftware.com or call +966 11 494 3901 and we will come back to you within five working days. Telling us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use, if any, makes it much faster to fix.
